Clare Hartshorne joins the team as lead on corporate communications and media
Cascade has appointed Clare Hartshorne as Business Director to join the growing team. Clare, who is a reputation management specialist, will head up the agency’s expanding corporate communications service offering and client list.
Clare joins after 10 years at Redwood Consulting where she was a Director, working across corporate and project accounts. She has advised a number of real estate clients on their corporate positioning and media profile, some for over a decade. She has also led the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy for projects across the UK.
At Cascade, Clare will work alongside Managing Director, Emma Waterfall, and fellow Business Director, Sam Wilson to complement and develop the firm’s existing campaign, advocacy, engagement and communications services.
Emma Waterfall said: “I am excited by Clare’s arrival at Cascade. Her commercial mindset and strategic thinking fits with Cascade’s approach to managing our client’s reputation and helping them shape a better narrative. We know clients are pushing hard to demonstrate their contribution within the property industry and at the current time, there is a focus on attracting investors. Clare’s skillset will be an asset to both our existing and new clients. I am so pleased she has joined the team.”
Clare joins following recent Cascade successes, including celebrating the grand opening of Battersea Power Station, following more than a decade of strategic advice; the opening of Springfield Hospital, on behalf of South West London & St George’s NHS Mental Health Trust; and successful parliamentary engagement to secure the winning bid to locate the first-of-a-kind Nuclear fusion plant on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council.
Clare Hartshorne added: “I am ready to hit the ground running with the brilliant team here at Cascade. It is an exciting time to join the business with many new initiatives and projects underway.”
